Description: Upright oval, flat. Shape 8. Brownish banded agate. Upper right part missing, chipped along the edge. From Athens.

A: Nude male figure (personified Envy) strangling himself. The figure is entwined by a snake, with a bird pecking at his eye. The figure is attacked by scorpions (one above and two to the sides), and a centipede on each side. Baseline tied around with a cord (?). Greek inscription on the two sides: φθονε ατυχι̣̣ → φθόνε ἀτύχ(ε)ι 'Bad luck to you, Envy!' (C. Bonner).
