A bird (eagle?) on the left, facing right, with a snake to left, wrapped around its feet. A nude, animal-headed (dog or jackal?) figure stands on the right, facing the bird. Left hand extended and holding a triangle, right hand lowered beside the body as if holding a long object (but cf. a self-stimulating figure on a related gem in the Hermitage).
