Description: Side A upright oval and convex, side B transverse oval, flat. Red carnelian. Crack across the gem, mounted in a modern gold setting.

A: Aphrodite of Aphrodisias standing to left, wearing a long garment, a veil and a crown on her head, her hands extended. On the right: a seated female figure. A crescent is visible on the left and a star on the right. In front of the figure, a well.
B: Greek inscription in four lines: ιαω|σαβαω|καρνα|ξι → voces including Ἰάω and a variant of Σαβαώθ.
