A: Solar child on the lotus. The child is nude, sitting with knees drawn up, to right, upon a lotus flower with two buds. Left hand raised to mouth, right hand bent in elbow and holding a flail. Head topped with the hemhem or lotus crown.
B: Inscription : αβρασαξ → Ἀβρασάξ.
A praxis known from a papyrus (PGM LXI 1-38) specifies that love charms had to be incised with the image of Horus on a lotus flower and the magical name Abraxas. Pieces with the Horus-scheme used as love charms: CBd-95, CBd-2392.
