Description: Upright oval, both faces flat. Shape 8–9. Reddish orange carnelian. Upper part chipped, lower part broken off. Acquired through the antiquities trade in Rome.
A: In the centre, nude Aphrodite standing on one leg, touching her right foot with her left hand and placing her right hand on a herm before her. Above: on the left, the bust of Helios with rays, on the right, the bust of Selene crowned with a crescent. On each side of Aphrodite: an eight-pointed star. Greek letters in the free field: ο ι σ.
