A: Jackal-headed figure (Anubis) in kilt or pteryges (?) and boots, his head to left, right hand holding a spear above the head of a snake that lies underneath his feet. The figure is surrounded with a scorpion, a small quadruped, a baboon (?). and a bird, as well as the letters ιαω → Ἰάω.
B: A scorpion framed by the sun to the right, and the moon to the left. Inscription above and below the scene: αβρασ|αξ → Ἀβρασάξ, followed by four vertical notches (reference to the Tetragrammaton?).
For the drawing of a similar design in Chifletius–Macarius, Abraxas, cf. CBd-2867. For an interpretation of the figure as Seth on similar gems, cf. West 2011, 139–140.
