A: The picture is divided into four scenes. In a counter-clockwise direction: 1) god wearing a tunic and a mantle, his right hand raised in a gesture of greeting, in his left hand a burning torch; 2) male figure kneeling in front of the statue of Hecate trimorph. The heads of the goddess are adorned with modii, uppermost hands holding daggers, middle hands holding burning torches, lowermost hands holding whips falling down to the ground. 3) (the same) male figure offering a sacrifice at an altar with two burning torches; 4) three women in long garments surrounding a severed, bodyless head, their arms raised in prayer. (Description based on Nagy 2000; for a different interpretation see Mastrocinque 2009). Inscription in three lines: Ophelimus|ex visonumi|nis posuit → Ophelimus ex viso numinis posuit. 'Ophelimus offered it, after a dream that a divinity had shown him.'
