A: Two figures facing each other in profile. Both wearing knee-long garments and crowns, one hand raised to mouth, the other resting on the hips. Between the two figures, perhaps a lizard (at the top) and a scorpion (at the bottom). Unidentified objects at the very top and bottom of the image. Inscription around the edge, beginning on the right: υναααιχυνααυχυνυασχλ → unidentified voces.

The gem may have been designed after a drawing in Chifletius–Macarius, Abrasax, see CBd-2870.
