The Egyptian atef crown combines the white crown of Upper Egypt with ostrich feathers on its two sides. It may be set on ram's horns and complemented with the solar disk and uraei. The atef crown is primarily associated with Osiris, but may also be worn by other deities and the king.
In CBd, components of the atef crown are categorised iconographically as follows: the white crown and the ostrich feathers are taken as compulsory elements of the atef crown and are therefore not listed separately. Extra features, such as the ram's horns, the solar disk and uraei are named in the descriptions and are linked to the datasheets as invisible elements.
