Obv. Ouroboros enclosing Harpocrates seated to front, head to l., on uterine symbol; r. leg extended, l. bent under him. Disk on head, r. hand to lips, l. resting on knobbed handle of key. Round the design, inside ouroboros, ακτιωφι Ερεσχιγαλ νεβουτοσουαληθ, and the vowels ιααεηιουω. For the magical names, see p. 197.
Rev. ορωριουθ αεμειναεβαρωθερρεθωραβεανιεμεα (a palindrome) , two other characters, ιαηιεηιουωηιη.
Red carnelian clouded with white above and at left. Upright oval, 29 x 23 x 4. A smoothly drilled depression near the bottom of the reverse may indicate that the lapidary started to make the uterine symbol on this side also.
