Description: Upright oval, both faces flat. Shape 8–9. Dark green jasper with a few red flecks (heliotrope). Damaged at the top and at the edges, cracked at the lower register. Set in a modern silver pendant.
Purchased in 1930 from A. Rosenstingl, Vienna.
A: Hermes striding to left, wearing tunic, mantle and winged boots. Left hand holding a kerykeoin, right hand holding a money bag, driving a wheel. Behind him, a ram, to left, below them, a cock and a scorpion facing each other. B: Ouroboros with head at top to right, enclosing an ibis tied to an altar.
