Description: Upright oval, both faces flat. Shape 8–9. Dark gray haematite. Side A abraded, chips on the edge. Set in a modern gold ring with a revolving bezel.
Purchased from Generalkonsul C. v. Peez in 1908.

 


A: Ouroboros enclosing a uterus with an eight-bitted key, ligaments and Fallopian tubes indicated. Deities above the uterus: on the left, Isis wearing a long robe, head to right, in the middle a lion-headed Chnoubis, head crowned with rays, to left; on the left, Osiris with the atef (?)-crown. Below the uterus Greek letters (?). Above Chnoubis, character (?).
B: Inscription in two lines: ορωρ|ιουθ → ορωριουθ.
