Description: Upright oval, side A flat, side B convex (?). Shape 7 (?). Light and dark brown banded agate with orange layers. Set in a gilded silver ring.
Purchased in 1798 from F. Neumann.

A: Nude Aphrodite standing to front on the back of a bull, lying on the ground to left. The goddess holds a tall burning torch in her left hand, and a round mirror in her right hand. To the left, a winged Eros with bow and arrow. Below him two doves facing each other. To the right of Aphrodite two dogs, both facing right. Above her head the symbol of the planet Venus and the symbol for Sagittarius (?). Inscribed around the border on the right: ANAEL → Anael. Below the groundline the symbol of the sign Taurus, and three circles with linked lines.
