Description:Upright octagonal, red jasper. Set in a gold ring. Ephesos, Artemision? "Constantinople, Alischan: 1880." Post-antique? (CBd)

A: Frontal view of a cock-headed Anguipes, head to left, holding a shield in his right hand and a whip in his left. Inscription around the figure, beginning at bottom left: ασκικατασκιλιξτετροξδαμναμενευσαισαι → variant of ephesia grammata, including Δαμναμενεύς.
B: Chnoubis-sign.
