A: Inscribed in four lines: δαρυ|νκωμ|αγναρ|αι<ω>θ → δαρυγκω, unidentified vox. (In the fourth line the engraver of the gem corrected αιθ to αιωθ.) In the fifth line: characteres. B: Ibis standing in profile to left on the primeval mound, a caduceus shown diagonally among its feathers. Inscription around: ουι?]φισ → variant of φιβις? (H. Maehler).
